The Urban Mutt is proud to announce that we are now able to serve our customers in 2 locations! Our second location is in La Grange. We are very excited to join the community and offer our services and products to the people in the area. We will probably wait until the latter part of May to do an “Official” Grand Opening, but in the meantime, we are definitely up and running. We are happy to report that little Phoebe, as we had called her, is back with her family!  Her real name is MiMi and she is 1 and a 1/2 years-old.  MiMi was indeed micro-chipped, however, it did not register when we went to the vet to have it scanned. Read the rest of this entry »

Join us on Sunday, October 24th between 1pm & 4pm for our Mutts and Monsters Halloween Event.  The event will take place in front of The Urban Mutt Store on Grove Avenue between Stanley and 32nd Street.

Please be sure to arrive promply as we will begin lining up for a mini-pet parade at 1:30 and will circle around the Harris Bank Building.  Following the parade will be the best pet and owner theme costume contest as we well as just a best pet costume contest.

In addition, you’ll get a souvenier photo of you and your pet, sponsored by Harris Bank.

I’d like to introduce you to Foxy……or Foxy Mamma as I like to call her. We believe Foxy is a Chihuahua/Corgi Mix and about 6 months old. She is a great little dog, very hyper and playful. Best of all, the other 3 dogs love her! She took to them (and they to her) within a day. However, Peanut is her favorite.

So now we are up to 4 mutts. They are all great and I don’t think I could give any of them up!! Although ask me that when I’m outside cleaning up all the poop. Thank goodness for our doggie disposal system:)
